November 28, 2024 – CCL Label Montréal, is proud to officially open today its new 44,000 square foot building in Montréal’s South Shore, entirely dedicated to label production, mainly for the pharmaceutical industry.
Among those in attendance were Antoine Krahenbuhl, General Manager of CCL Label Montréal, Geoffrey T. Martin, President and CEO of CCL Industries, and Nancy Cormier, City Councillor for Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. This event is a milestone in the company’s history, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of CCL’s operations in Québec and the 20th anniversary of the acquisition of Graphiques Apex.
Previously owned by WETSTYLE, the new building has been totally renovated and transformed to better accommodate CCL Label Montréal’s operations. The company’s infrastructure now totals 120,000 square feet. The last expansion work was completed in 2013.
CCL Label Montréal, the only company in Québec capable of printing leaflets, folding cartons and labels at the same site, has invested $4.8 million in renovating its new facility, which will also be equipped with cutting-edge technology. Printing and packaging in the pharmaceutical sector require specific expertise, particularly in terms of quality control, so as not to endanger users’ lives.
“This new facility underlines our commitment to industrial excellence and growth in the pharmaceutical industry,” Mr. Krahenbuhl said. “With over 190 dedicated employees, we are proud to be strengthening our presence in Québec while setting new standards in printing and innovation for our customers.”
