Stormtech Shifts Operations to Toronto Distribution Centre, Opening New Western Headquarters in B.C.

June 2, 2026 – Stormtech has announced an update to its operations in its goal to continue to serve its Canadian customers in the years ahead. brbr

As a Canadian-owned, family-run business, Stormtech has always taken a long-term view of how weitserve our customers, support our team, and invest in the future of Stormtech. Stormtech’s goal is to strengthen service reliability, improve inventory availability, and deliver a more consistent customer experience across the country. brbr

After careful evaluation of current and future operational requirements in Canada, including rising operating costs and the increasing expense of operating multiple distribution facilities, Stormtech has made the decision to consolidate its Canadian inventory, decoration, and distribution activities into its Toronto distribution centre, effective September 1, 2026. brbr

This decision reflects both the realities of rising operating costs and their long-term commitment to building a stronger, more efficient national distribution model. Rather than allowing these pressures to limit the company’s ability to invest in inventory, service, and customer support, Stormtech has made the responsible decision to simplify its distribution model. brbr

This centralization of resources will allow Stormtech to make important operational improvements: brbr

• Improve inventory availability and visibility brbr

• Deeper stock in one location brbr

• Reduced split shipments brbr

• Improve order reliability brbr

• Increased decoration capacity brbr

For distributor partners, this means a more streamlined ordering experience, with better access to inventory, more complete orders, and greater confidence when serving your customers. brbr

Stormtech acknowledges this transition may create some initial adjustments, particularly for those accustomed to same-day pickups and shipments from its Burnaby location. We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible and will support customers through the company’s sales representatives, customer service team, and freight programs. brbr

Stormtech is not leaving British Columbia; the company is investing in a new Western headquarters in Coquitlam, reaffirming its commitment to the West Coast, where Stormtech was founded and where the brand’s story began. When it opens in January 2027, the facility will bring together executive offices, an expanded showroom, a sample lending library, a warranty repair centre, its product development team, and a new factory outlet. brbr

As always, Stormtech’s sales management team, local sales representatives, and customer service team are available to make this transition as smooth as possible. They can answer any questions about how they can help you manage freight options on future orders. brbr

The company thanks its valued customer base for their continued support, loyalty, and trust in Stormtech. The company is confident these changes will position us to serve you even better in the years ahead.
