ATTRACTION wins the Family Succession gold medal

June 12, 2019 – As a finalist in the family succession category, ATTRACTION proudly received the gold medal in the “Les Médaillés de la relève” contest.

The 13th edition of the “Les Médaillés de la relève” contest closing gala took place in the presence of over 200 guests. Serge Harnois, President and CEO of Harnois Énergies was the evening’s honorary chair. This contest is organized by PwC Canada and its partners to celebrate the success of Quebec companies that successfully completed their succession process, not only by maintaining the continuity of their businesses, but also by ensuring continued growth. As a finalist in the family succession category, ATTRACTION proudly received the gold medal.

“Receiving the ‘Les Médaillés de la relève’ contest’s gold medal is a wonderful way for us and the whole team to celebrate the success of our transfer process. We are very proud of continuing what the Gagnon family started in 1980,” said Sébastien Jacques, co-owner and Vice-president, Sales and Marketing.

“Like any business transfer, there were challenging moments. Yet, looking back, it would have been difficult to achieve a better succession. The solid base that was laid over the last few years now allows the company to undertake a growth phase,” stated Julia Gagnon, co-owner and vice-president, Operations.

Driven by a new energy, Attraction will complete the implementation of its new computer system and automation plan in the fall with the view to launch into the US market.
