October 27, 2026 – S&S, a tech-forward leader in branded merchandise distribution, has opened a new 162,000-square-foot distribution centre in Vancouver, more than doubling its regional footprint. The facility introduces Locus picking automation to the region for the first time, supporting faster, more accurate order fulfillment. brbr
The facility began shipping customer orders this week, replacing S&S’s nearby 67,000-square-foot location. Nearly 2.5 times the size of its predecessor, the new distribution centre combines expanded warehouse space, automation and enhanced shipping infrastructure to strengthen S&S’s regional distribution capabilities. brbr
“This investment is about growing alongside our customers in Western Canada,” said Enrique Escalona, Vice President, General Manager of Canada. “We’re expanding our capacity, investing in technology and equipping our experienced team to better serve businesses across the region.” brbr
First announced in June, the expanded facility provides space for an additional 20,000 pick locations, creating room for broader product selection and deeper inventory across key categories. S&S also plans to invest an estimated $50 million in inventory at the location to support continued growth across Western Canada. brbr
Designed with team members’ daily work in mind, the facility features larger, more ergonomic pick locations. Expanded shipping and receiving docks help reduce congestion, while a new shipping conveyor supports shipment sorting and trailer loading to keep orders moving.
The Vancouver opening builds on S&S’s ongoing investment in its North American distribution network. Earlier this month, the company announced plans for a new 500,000-square-foot distribution centre in the Phoenix metro area, scheduled to begin operations in late summer 2027. brbr
“Our investments in Vancouver and Phoenix reflect how we’re building our distribution network for the future,” said Josh Clark, Chief Operating Officer at S&S. “We’re focused on staying ahead of customer needs and creating the infrastructure to support their businesses as they grow.”
