PromoGroup Joins the commonsku Buying Group Network

October 22, 2026 – PromoGroup, the only Canadian-owned and operated buying group for independent promotional products distributors, today announced it has joined the commonsku Buying Group Network, through which commonsku connects its distributor community with established buying groups across the industry. brbr

The collaboration gives PromoGroup a commonsku-sanctioned channel to distributors across the country whose day-to-day already runs through commonsku, and supports PromoGroup’s continued coast-to-coast expansion. Distributors on commonsku can access automated and consolidated payables, pre-negotiated pricing with more than 100 suppliers, annual rebates with more than 40 suppliers, and freight reductions through group carrier agreements, without changing the software they already run their business on. brbr

The collaboration adds value on commonsku’s side too: any distributor evaluating the platform, current subscriber or prospect, can now factor PromoGroup’s buying power into that decision, making commonsku itself a stronger choice. And for distributors who aren’t yet on commonsku, the technology and the group-buying benefits are no longer a trade-off — with PromoGroup now in the Network, they can have both. brbr

“We want to meet distributors where they are, and joining the commonsku Buying Group Network lets us do exactly that,” said Maxx Rochette, Partner and VP of Strategic Growth at PromoGroup. “commonsku runs a distributor’s day-to-day business. We run their buying power. A distributor who’s already living there can activate PromoGroup without changing anything about how they work. It’s one more way we’re building our presence coast to coast — and one more reason for distributors to make the move to commonsku.” brbr

PromoGroup is launching a limited program for the first distributors who join through the collaboration. The first 10 will have their annual commonsku subscription covered by PromoGroup for as long as they remain members. brbr
